These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Lil Coup text-message coupon service (the "Service"), operated by ALT Tech Support Inc. ("we", "us", "Lil Coup"). By opting in to messages or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
The Service
Lil Coup lets participating local businesses send coupons, offers, and announcements by SMS to customers who have opted in, and provides each business a branded web page where subscribers can view and redeem those offers. Coupons and their terms are set by the individual business, not by Lil Coup.
Text messaging terms
- You join a business's list by texting its keyword to that business's number, which is your express consent to receive recurring automated marketing messages from that business through Lil Coup.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP (or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT) at any time to stop messages; reply HELP (or INFO) for help.
- Consent to receive messages is not a condition of any purchase.
- You are responsible for keeping your mobile number current and for notifying us if it changes or is reassigned.
Coupons and redemption
Offers are provided by the participating business and are subject to that business's stated terms, expiry dates, and availability. Lil Coup is not responsible for honoring, valuing, or refunding any offer, and offers have no cash value unless the business states otherwise.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with its operation, submitting false information, or using it to send unlawful, harassing, or infringing content. Businesses using Lil Coup are responsible for obtaining valid consent from their subscribers and for complying with all applicable laws, including CASL and telecommunications regulations.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that messages will always be delivered.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ALT Tech Support Inc. and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD $100).
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted, and the effective date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The courts located in British Columbia will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service.
